We thought we were over all of this. Evra/Suarez, Cole/Ferdinand, Terry/Bridge but unfortunately the mascots at today’s game between Aston Villa and West Ham let an undercurrent of bitterness spill over into the public domain. Watch towards the end as the Villa mascot refuses to shake the hand of her West Ham counterpart. Or did the West Ham mascot put out his hand and then pull it away? More as we get it.
Today, we saw an almost replica incident as the Aston Villa mascot ignored the Premier League mascot before their clash with West Ham.
Considering the dire first half played out between Aston Villa and West Ham, this might have been the most exciting incident for quite a while at Villa Park today!

Second half goals from Christian Benteke and Charles N’Zogbia earned Aston Villa three crucial points in their bid for Premier League survival.
In what was a pretty dire contest throughout, Benteke’s penalty and N’Zogbia’s wonderful free kick were enough for Villa to secure a first league win since beating Liverpool in December, although they faced a nervous closing stages after a late own goal by Ashley Westwood sent jitters throughout Vills Park.
Five minutes later and the point were in the bag for Villa as N’Zogbia curled home a wonderful free kick from 25 yards out. His left-footed effort beat the four man wall and was too good for Jaaskelainen as it nestled in the corner of the net.
West Ham grabbed a late consolation through an own goal from Ashley Westwood as he accidently flicked Joe Cole's cross past keeper Brad Guzan, but the home side held on to secure a vital win.

Aurelio Andreazzoli is not just keeping the seat warm for a new head coach at Roma as the capital club start life without Zdenek Zeman at Sampdoria.
After weeks of speculation the Czech tactician was finally dismissed in the wake of a 4-2 home defeat to Cagliari, with experienced coach Andreazzoli taking the reins until the end of the season.
Former France boss Laurent Blanc is one of those reportedly under consideration to be Zeman's permanent successor but Andreazzoli feels he has what it takes to turn things around.
His first act is likely to be the recall of Dutch goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg, whose dissatisfaction at a lengthy spell out of the team was somewhat vindicated when Mauro Goicoechea conceded an own goal against Cagliari.

Cagliari Coach Ivo Pulga has thanked Milan for being “admirably sporting” aboutthe chaotic decision to play at the Is Arenas.

Tottenham coach Andre Villas-Boas has hailed Newcastle's signing of Moussa Sissoko as a 'massive coup' ahead of Saturday's clash at White Hart Lane.
Sissoko grabbed the headlines last week as his two goals stole victory from Chelsea, sparking wild celebrations in the Newcastle dugout and moving the Tyneside club up to 15th spot on the ladder.

Judge Rodriguez-Chomat then set Soto's bond at $5,000 and said 'bye, bye.'
In response, Soto laughed and replied 'Adios' as she walked away.

Nasri and Chamakh abused by Arsenal fans Footage Video - as they travel together to the Emirates Stadium for the match against Manchester City on Sunday has emerged.A video appearing to show Arsenal fans abusing Samir Nasri and Marouane Chamakh has emerged after Manchester City's 2-0 victory over the Gunners on Sunday.
City midfielder Nasri, who did not feature in the match due to suspension, and Chamakh, who is currently on loan at West Ham from Arsenal, are seen walking together towards the Emirates Stadium.
Several Arsenal supporters appear to insult Nasri and Chamakh before one fan approaches and confronts the France international.
Arsenal said they were aware of the video but had no statements to make when contacted by Goal.com on Monday morning, while Manchester City were unavailable for comment.
At the beginning of the video, a man out of shot is heard to shout "there's that w***** Nasri" before both players are abused.
A fan extends his hand to Nasri, before withdrawing it, prompting the Frenchman to respond: "What the f*** is wrong with you?"
After further insults aimed at both players, Chamakh rounds on the supporters, saying: "Show a bit of respect," which is met with further taunting and goading.

Kompany Red Card Arsenal 0-2 vs Manchester City.Vincent Kompany brutal foul tackle on Jack Wilshere Video. It looks a harsh one! The City captain went in strong on Jack Wilshere, who didn't pull out of the challenge himself, but the Belgian got a whole lot of the ball and can consider himself unlucky to see red.
Arsenal look to have a good chance on the counterattack as Ramsey prods a ball into Giroud, the striker skips past a challenge and feeds it to Wilshere but steps across Garcia and gives away the free kick.
Giroud is unmarked in the box and gets on the end of Cazorla's free kick but the Frenchman is slightly under the ball and sends his header over the bar! Glorious chance to set up a frantic finish.
Great save from Szczesny to deny Tevez one-on-on! Arsenal pushed forward leaving the front two in plenty of space, Silva found Dzeko who drew in a couple of defenders before switching it to his team-mate. The Argentine tried to go round the Arsenal keeper but the Pole managed to get a hand to the ball.
Bacary Sagna makes a great defensive header from Milner's cross to deny Edin Dzeko a chance to head at goal. City work the corner short, again, but Arsenal are wise to it this time and manage to clear.

1. As a negative point to my prognoses I must say that Cheltenham town is in very good form recently:
- In the last 8 home games the team haven’t lost a game – 6 wins and 2 draws
- Overall in the last 5 games the team has 2 wins, 1 draw and 2 lost games
2. The team is placed in League Two and is on 4th position, 9 points behind the leader with 1 game less then it. The style of play of the team is not very attractive – in 25 games they have scored 36 goals (a little over a goal per game) and have conceded 33. We can expect tide defense but it is hard to believe that it will hold to the end.
3. Both teams do not have history officially. They had 1 testimonial game in 1990 which was won by Cheltenham with 1:0 and I do not think it can be repeated today.

Daniel Rojo spoke his time protecting Messi in a revealing interview with Gazzetta dello Sport.
"In my life I've robbed 500 banks. I was addicted to the high life, cars and expensive clothes, and drugs. I started when I was 15 years old and then I became a professional," revealed Rojo.
"In 1997 I decided to change my life and joined the world of soccer. In 2006 I started working for Barcelona. At the time, (Frank) Rijkaard was the coach and the team would send me to pick up players who had too much to drink at nightclubs and couldn't drive."
On Messi, Rojo continued: "One day they sent me to pick him up after training. Messi is a humble kid and when he ate he would sit next to me and I would tell him about my life. He didn't have much to say, in his life he hadn't done anything beside train and play soccer. They also wouldn't let him go out with girls, only now has he discovered what it means to live."
He continued: "I haven't been in charge of them for a couple of years but everyone once in a while we cross paths. Last year I went to see a Barcelona game with my friend and I ran across Leo who was accompanied by two gorgeous girls. Afterwards, I found out that one was his girlfriend, Antonella Roccuzzo, and the other was (Javier) Mascherano's wife and I went out to eat with them. Demba Ba insisted it was an easy decision to sign for the Champions League winners after his move to Chelsea was confirmed by the club today.
The Senegal striker has signed a three-and-a-half-year contract after his move from Newcastle for £7.5million. The London club had triggered a £7million release clause in his Magpies contract.
Ba, 27, who will be eligible for selection for tomorrow's FA Cup third-round match at Southampton, will wear the number 29 shirt.
He said: 'It feels good to be here, I'm very happy and very proud.
'When the club who won the Champions League wants you, the decision is very easy. This club is massive and that's something that helped the decision a lot. It was not a hard one.
'It was important for me, and for Newcastle, to get my future sorted and now we can move on. Now they have the whole month to buy someone and for me as well, the sooner the better. Now I am here I just need to get settled in.'
Ba is joint-third in the Premier League scorers table this season with 13 goals so far.
The transfer puts the seal on a stunning rise from the lower reaches of French football to the European champions.
Born in the suburbs of Paris, Ba played for Port Autonome du Havre, Montrouge and third division side Rouen before moving to Mouscron, in the Belgian top flight.
He then moved to Hoffenheim, helping them win promotion to the Bundesliga, and was signed by West Ham two years ago.

Misfit Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli and manager Roberto Mancini were involved in a furious training ground bust-up today.
The City boss was seen to grab, shove and gesticulate wildly at the striker as the pair clashed in front of stunned team-mates at the club's Carrington base.
The 22-year-old Italian striker was then seen being restrained and led away by a member of staff, believed to be Massimo Battara, in shocking scenes as City prepared their FA Cup third round clash with Watford.
Mancini reacted furiously following a tackle from Balotelli on a team-mate said to be Scott Sinclair, once again putting the Italian's future at the club in doubt.
One onlooker told Sky Sports News: 'Mancini ran at him - he was furious,' said the onlooker. 'He grabbed hold of him and appeared to try and throw him on the floor.
'It looked like Mario was too strong and he couldn't get him down. Then all the coaches ran in to separate them but Mancini was having none of it. He kept trying to break free and have a go at him again.'
After the incident, Balotelli drove off in his camouflage Bentley GT. He has a history of irritating his manager, leading to much speculation he will be sold.
When Balotelli was sent off against Arsenal last season, his furious manager intimated that it was the end of the line for the striker.

AC Milan midfielder Kevin Prince Boateng took an amazing stand against racism on Thursday after the Ghanaian was racially abused in a friendly match at minnows Pro Patria.
Midway through the first half, as Boateng was on the ball near the touchline, the Milan number 10 completely forget about the game at hand as he stopped playing, picked up the ball and whacked it at a hoard of Pro Patria fans sitting in the stands.
According to various Italian reports, the Pro Patria supporters were heard loudly racially abusing Boateng.
Incensed at the deplorable treatment he was being subjected to, Boateng ripped off his jersey and immediately stormed off the pitch.
Within a matter of seconds, Boateng was joined by his AC Milan teammates as well as the Pro Patria players, and the game was brought to a dramataic halt.
